Visitor Information
If you have a friend or family member in our hospital, we want to help alleviate some of the stress and worry in your life. The following information is provided for your convenience:
Visiting Hours
Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Visitors are welcome from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Visitors are asked to observe isolation signs on patient doors and check with the Nurses' Station if in doubt. Children under six years of age are not permitted in patient room areas, but may visit in the waiting areas. Children, ages six to 12, must be accompanied by an adult.
Intensive Care Unit
Hours: 8:30 am to 9:00 am
11:30 am to 12:00 pm
2:30 pm to 3:00 pm
5:30 pm to 6:00 pm
7:30 pm to 8:00 pm
For patients' well being, the hospital prefers that only immediate family members visit patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Please limit visitors to two at a time. Children under 12 are not permitted.
Translators
Translators of many languages are available. Should you or a loved one become a patient at our hospital, and you find that you cannot fully understand what is occurring with your medical care, please indicate to your nurse that you would like a translator. Translators for non-English speaking patients are also available through a telephone service within the hospital.
Accommodations for Families
We have several hotels located close to our hospital. We have made arrangements with some local hotels to offer you competitive or discounted rates. Click here for a listing of participating hotels.
Should the situation be such that you prefer to stay overnight with a patient, complimentary cots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are allowed to stay overnight with patients in private rooms only. Visitors are limited to one per patient, and must obtain a pass from security. Overnight visitors are not allowed in IC.

The cafeteria is located on the first floor.
Hours: Breakfast 8:00 am to 8:30 am
Lunch 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Dinner 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Weekend Hours: Breakfast 8:30 am to 9:00 am
Lunch 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
Vending machines are located outside of the dining room and Emergency Center.
Tobacco Use
Emory-Adventist Hospital is a tobacco-free campus. The use of tobacco products on hospital grounds is strictly prohibited.
Parking
Complimentary parking is located in the front of the hospital. If cars are left in the parking lot longer than 48 hours, the car will be subject to towing, unless specific arrangements have been made directly with security.
