MOYER NAMED NURSING HOME LIAISON AT EMORY-ADVENTIST

(Smyrna, GA, January 11, 2010) - Lori Moyer, RN was recently appointed as the Nursing Home Liaison at Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna (EAH.) In this position she will establish relationships with area nursing homes that will enhance the referral process. In addition, she will be responsible for developing protocols to create effective communication between the nursing homes and the hospital should a resident become a patient at EAH.

Ms. Moyer received her BS in Nursing at St. Joseph’s College in Maine. Prior to coming to EAH she served as a School Nurse for the Cobb County School System. Her previous experience also includes serving as a School Nurse for Calhoun City Schools in Calhoun, Georgia; Outpatient Surgery Nurse at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun, Georgia; and working with Senior Solutions, an outpatient geriatric treatment program, in Calhoun, GA.
